I have about 3000 hours in pso2 jp to preface. It's an amazingly good action rpg, so if quick battle is your thing then this game is for you. If you're looking for additional mmo features like huge groups of gamers then you will probably be disappointed since the maximum party size at any time is 12, the only time you'll find more players will be at the reception where you can find a couple hundred at one time. But if you truly want to play it you can also just try it in the meantime; simply be cautious that account development is a major roadblock. You could see the anime that only releases last night to find out whether you want the story also, I thought it was really good!

Leveling up is grindy, especially near the level cap but you begin the endgame until the complete max degree and unlocking degree cap increases are sort of there only for unlocking higher tier engame content. Do not play the SEA server, however, it's super p2w and though it's official English (Engrish) translation, it's terrible. Except the sub is helpful, japanese does not have elements that are p2w.

(You can get few day duration vip cards from achievements but it is a whole lot simpler if you do not have to be concerned about this as"resource management") If you want to play numerous classes optimally, you need to buy an extra pet slot because you just get one free of charge. You can clear pretty much everything with a 0-stat pet but obtaining a stat boost is obviously really useful. Most classes are covered with two pets (bodily / magic attack) but 2 of the classes receive a bit better stats using DEX however they can use phys or magic attack.
