I have seen a lot of threads praising osrs within this sub and as somebody who hasn't played yet, I find it odd that many comments are purely positive just. It would be nice to see some cons as well to properly educate the rest of us.The cons, from my perspective, are the outdated visual style, the robots, and the lack of engaging gameplay. A lot of the sport is merely clicking. OSRS is not terrible, however. It's a specific charm. The combat is pretty bland. I was going to begin grinding but realized that I would be having more fun in classic wow. The same price too.
What I am thinking about doing is playing with OSRS on mobile and playing classic wow in the home using a desktop. Runescape on mobile is a game changer when speaking about experts and cons.Things individuals may not enjoy is the visual styling, delayed-time gameplay, slower paced - less chance for engaging gameplay in the beginning and unorthodox distinctive game and battle mechanics. You might not enjoy that some content is blocked by quests or that because the sport is older some fundamental updates will probably not ever happen due to the complexity of doing this.
It will not force combat on you. Even though there are ways for you to be active in battle you'll have to find out itself as the methods used were exactly proposed mechanics originally. It is really up to you if it is the ideal fit. A charm is for this which you can't find elsewhere.
I like OSRS but here are some of my cons. Really slow paced game. That is fine most of the time, but sometimes I want some fast paced, exciting combat or action and nothing else in OSRS can deliver this, which means you may need to play something different to accomplish that. Reliance on third party software. A customer is named Runelite which just adds an quantity of features and performance. You are at a disadvantage if you don't, although you don't need to use it. I truly dislike being reliant on a third party customer.
