You could purchase bonds to skip tasks.

You could purchase bonds to skip tasks. I know hating on Jagex for boosting MTX but that is clearly what they were doing. I've prchased membership using bonds bought with money for years. I did not mind giving them 14 this so I could get a grab bag of lamps and makeup. Obviously how you go about finishing the track is your personal taste.

I truly don't get exactly whaty'don't understand. Not everybody has that kind of time nor money to spend on RuneScape. Either way all you are doing is feeding into the bs that they would like you to. I really don't get why both of you are actively trying to defend this sort of behavior from a multi million dollar business. Why wouldn't you want the experience. Wouldn't you want to not have to pay for all these schemes. Instead you are actively promoting they continue to perform as they have done and continue to do. It's nonsense and when it is not blatantly obvious that in the event that you look at it with clear eyes and a clear mind then clearly I'd assume you are part of the problem. I'm not going to waste my breath trying to convince you because clearly your mind is already made up, if that's the case.

Does it make it simpler? Is there a system that could have been better? For those that don't know - OSRS Jmods are taking a look at creating PvM deaths more severe (right now you have 1 hour for your location of departure ). There are a variety of thoughts Jagex is looking into and something that they brought up was copying RS3's death mechanics using Death's Office. And I guess out the best way to make an opinion is to ask those of those who interact with it on a daily basis.

I prefer not having to return to place of death in a rush, yes. If you die because of power or internet outage that lasts more than an hour, I assume you lose most of your things on OSRS? You still have the option of going back and grabbing your staff from the tomb on RS3, but also for equipment which dissipates (anything over T70) it's usually cheaper to recover it at Death's Office. You must use RoD if your death cost is that large. For gear, it is going to be relatively cheap.

The Office of death is great. It's a coin sink aswell, although not needing to rush for your items is one thing. Additionally, it opens up the chance for new items: in RS3 there is this ring known as [[Ring of Death]] that you charge with onyxes, and teleports you to safety when you die, preventing the passing cost. (you still die, so it doesn't spare HCIM, but it is a set price in charges. It makes the RuneScape players who have expensive gear farming top end bosses really cover their mistakes rather than invest a couple of minutes getting their items back. I've seen a number of those discussions concerning the new mechanisms over there; a few of these men seem real mad they are losing their free extra stock at bosses.
