Surely EA understand that Madden 20 coins drip-feeding out real player faces after launch is remarkably lazy. It poor for a production; once players purchase what's effectively NFL: The Video Game, they anticipate the game's biggest stars to seem like their on-field counterparts.

What they do not expect is to find a bunch of cosplayers staring back at them. That is not as forgivable for primary position guys like QBs, WRs and celebrities of the sport. Also, would it be too much to ask that EA do a much better job of employing the creation suite on guys they have not had the time to face scan before launch? It's like someone who'd never watched one snap made half these guys.

Madden is a multi-million dollar product each summer, and it deserves to be saturated to detail, quality throughout the board and genuine, true-to-life experiences. Immersion is tough when Giants' Daniel Jones looks like he must be passing out Gatorade on the bench.

Launch head into market mode in Madden 20 and you're going to find a suite that is much better overall than. It is not ideal (the community continues to try for this ), but little touches such as situations and enhanced contractual discussions improve the feature.

There's far more they could with it. Take the offseason. In between campaigns, there is precious little to do besides drift aimlessly and media on that button. This is a missed chance when real-life NFL coaches work to get things ready for the kickoff of September. EA will be doing themselves a favor by adding some randomised storylines here.
