I thought I'd start with another of these threads. Post how you found out about the game, for example. Every person will have a different story than "I just randomly typed runescape.com into my browser and created an account!" The game was first introduced to me by a friend I had growing up. I went to his house and he showed me how it worked. I watched him kill and cut down the pine tree, then build a fire, then burn the chicken. Exciting.

Then I offered him the "Why am I spending my time watching this nerd and snobby" look. He was able to understand. For the rest of the day, we did things that stereotypical boys at his age would do: race through the water or touch football.

A few months later, I heard my friends and I have been talking about Runescape. It sounded similar to my experiences with Runescape so I tried it out to make sure I wasn't causing trouble for the children. On Friday afternoon I set up an account. I lost it somewhere in Varrock and I decided to make Sobend. This time I played safe and I stayed in Lumbridge.
