Madden gave no Jaguars player last year with a score

After Kyle Pitts opened up as the NFL's highest-rated rookie EA Sports' Madden 22 video game, the Falcons are yet to witness another player rated among the top 10 of their position.

Madden has revealed the names of 10 rookies from the class of this year's to date. The top 10 players from the wide receiver and defensive line positions have been revealed. Calvin Ridley, who ended the Madden 22 ratings cycle with an 88 overallscore, failed to crack the top 10 wideouts of this year's game.

Madden 22 also removed Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett from its top 10 interior defense linemen ratings. The choice to exclude Jarrett, who finished as an overall 90 at the final stage of the Madden 22 ratings cycle, is puzzling to say the least.

Jarrett's biggest flaw is his affiliation with Atlanta defense which has been in poor shape for the past few years. You can't blame the unit's failings on Jarrett but they've definitely negatively impacted the perception surrounding Jarrett, who was a former Clemson lineman.

EA will announce its quarterback lineup on Friday, which gives the Falcons the best chance to spot any player in the top 10. Matt Ryan, who opened Madden 22 at an 87 overall rating, dropped two spots by season's end. Considering the drop in ratings for Jarrett do not be surprised to see Ryan being left out of Madden's top 10 passers.

Can the Jacksonville Jaguars afford a Madden 22 player who's older than 90?

Madden 22 will not be launched until August 17 however EA is already releasing the player ratings for the new release in its video game franchise. With a score of 78, Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was second, just after Atlanta Falcons tight-end Kyle Pitts who earned an overall rating. This isn't a stellar score, but it's an impressive rating. We'll keep an eye on the game to determine if any Jacksonville Jaguars player gets a rating higher than 90 this season.

Madden gave no Jaguars player last year with a score at or above 90. Center Brandon Linder was the top-rated player at 87 overall and kicker Josh Lambo was next with an 85 rating. Left guard Andrew Norwell and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue came in as the second highest-rated players, with an 83. Soon after EA released their ratings, Jacksonville traded Ngakoue and released Fournette.
